Lesson in honor of World Post Day at Secondary School No.7 in Rechitsa

On October 9, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» pilot project, the Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa held a lesson at Secondary School No.7 in Rechitsa on the topic «Our Friend – the Postman», dedicated to World Post Day. Archivists told 5th-grade students about the archive’s founder – a participant in the Great Patriotic War and Rechitsa postman Evgenia Aleksandrovna Adamovich – and showed her documents in a presentation.

The culmination of the lesson was a fascinating quiz «Planet Post», during which the children brilliantly demonstrated their knowledge of the post office and the profession of a postman.
