«Archives for School»: about the Rechitsa State Archives and the liberation of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War

On September 6, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, employees of the Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa met with students of grades 8-9 of Secondary School No. 2 in Rechitsa. They conducted a video tour of the archive, during which the children got acquainted with the work of archivists and the composition of the documents. Then there was a screening of the documentary film «Liberation», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
