A delegation of Belarusian archivists took part in the international scientific and theoretical conference «Cinema, photo and sound archives in modern society: current directions of development»

On August 8, 2024, a session of the International scientific and theoretical conference «Film and Photo Archives in Modern Society: Current Development Directions» opened in Dushanbe, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Central State Archive of Film and Photo Documents of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The conference is attended by Oleg Leonidovich Voinov, Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, and Andrei Evgenievich Rybakov, Director of the Belarusian Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Science.

Andrei Nikolaevich Gonchar, Director of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents, made a report on the topic «Activities to popularize audiovisual documents of the National Archival Fund using information and communication technologies: Belarusian experience».
