On the holding of a sightseeing tour and lecture at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno for young and middle-aged children of the children’s development institution «Island of Knowledge» in Grodno as part of the republican campaign «Archives for School»

On August 8, 2024, a lecture and a tour of the archive were held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno for young and middle-aged children of the children’s development institution «Island of Knowledge» in Grodno as part of the republican campaign «Archives for School». The children learned the history of the archive, got acquainted with the registers of births and tried to compile their own family tree, and also wrote with fountain pens, read an advertisement from the newspaper «Grodno Provincial Gazette», and finally visited the exhibition hall, the laboratory for special document processing and the archive storage.
