State Archive of the Minsk Region at the memorial complex «Mound of Glory»

On July 3, 2024, Belarus celebrated its main holiday – Independence Day and the 80th anniversary of liberation from the Nazi invaders. According to established tradition, the festive events took place at the memorial complex «Mound of Glory», where exhibition sites of institutions and enterprises of the central region were set up.

Director of the State Archives of the Minsk Region Yulia Romashko and employees of the institution also took part in the festive events of the Minsk region on the Mound of Glory.

The participants and guests of the festival were presented with tablet exhibitions «Memorial complex «Mound of Glory» about the history of the creation of the complex and «1944. Liberation. Events and Heroes» about the liberation of the Minsk region from the Nazi invaders. Visitors to the memorial complex were able to familiarize themselves with collections of documents published by the State Archive of the Minsk Region.

Guests also enjoyed collecting their «family tree» and signing «Letters of Victory», and a win-win lottery was organized for children.
