The staff of the institution «State Archive of the Gomel Region» attended the requiem concert «Every Third» in Minsk

On the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people – June 22, 2024, a requiem concert «Every Third» was held in Minsk, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. The Gomel regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions was represented by members of primary trade union organizations: the institution «State Archive of the Gomel Region» and the institution «Territorial Center for Social Services for the Population of the Gomel Region».

Representatives of the regional archive Bortnovskaya M.V., Rashuk E.M. and Chubykalo A.P. shared their impressions with members of the work team.

The concert is dedicated to the memory of all victims and heroes of the Great Patriotic War. This is a story about the destinies of ordinary people, combining new songs about war and victory with unique archival footage and historical facts. Honored artists of Belarus took part in the requiem concert. The audience listened to many songs while standing, thus expressing gratitude for the peaceful sky above. The concert is a tribute to the memory of those who fell during the Great Patriotic War.
