The institution «State Archive of the Gomel Region» organized a screening of the documentary film «Liberation» for the team of OJSC «Gomel Distillery Radamir»

June 20, 2024 as part of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could», the institution «State Archive of the Gomel Region» (hereinafter referred to as the State Archive) organized a screening of the documentary film «Liberation» for the team of OJSC «Gomel Distillery Radamir» numbering 35 people.

Speaking to the participants of the event, Deputy Director of the State Film Agency Andrei Petrovich Mitskevich spoke about the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could», which was prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents, where the story about the liberation of the cities of Belarus is told in chronological order.

Before watching the documentary «Liberation», the employees talked about the events of the Great Patriotic War and the need to preserve historical memory. During the discussion, Deputy Director of the SAG, Andrei Petrovich Mitskevich, gave comprehensive answers to all the questions asked.
