Scientific conference at the regional museum of local lore

In the cultural institution «Mogilev Regional Museum of Local Lore named after. E.R. Romanova» On June 13, 2024, the scientific conference «Gistoryka-cultural spadchyna Padnyaprovya-2024» was held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Mogilev region from the Nazi invaders. The conference was attended by more than 30 researchers, historians, local historians, museum staff, including employees of the Moscow Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War (Victory Museum), the Bryansk State Local History Museum and the state cultural institution of the Tula region «Tula Museum Association».

During the conference, the leading archivist of the department for the scientific use of documents and information of the State Archives of the Mogilev Region, Master of Historical Sciences Alexander Petukhov, made a report on the topic «FZO schools and the restoration of the Mogilev region in the post-war period.»

Conference participants were able to see the new exhibition «80 Relics of the Great Patriotic War.»
