Implementation of the republican action «Archives for School» in BSAMLA

On June 7, 2024, as part of the republican action «Archives for School» at the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLA), the leading archivist of the department of information, publication and use of documents K.V. Tsynkevich conducted an excursion for 5th grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 97 in Minsk named after V.V. Gergel».

Students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich collection of BSAMLA, valuable documents and museum objects.

On the excursion, schoolchildren learned about the creative path of famous writers, poets, artists and musicians, whose works and creative findings are stored in the archive-museum. In addition, the children got acquainted with the work of archivists and researchers who care about the preservation and transmission of the heritage of Belarusian culture to future generations.

The excursion was an interesting and educational experience for the students, allowing them to deepen their knowledge of the history and culture of their country.
