Conducting an open meeting of the EHR with representatives of organizations – sources of acquisition in the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region»
On May 30, 2024, an open meeting of the expert and methodological commission of the state archive was held at the institution «State Archive of the Mogilev Region» with the invitation of representatives of organizations that are sources of acquisition of the state archive.
The meeting was attended by specialists from the preschool educational institution and persons responsible for the archive, OJSC Bakery and Confectionery Company Domochay, OJSC Mogilev Ice Cream Factory, and the Mogilev Regional Blood Transfusion Station.
At the meeting, issues related to the work of the expert commissions of the organizations present, as well as the organization of office work and the work of the archive, including electronic document management and the implementation of the AIS «Departmental Archives» were discussed.
Based on the results of the meeting, representatives of organizations were given the necessary recommendations that relate to organizational and legal support for the activities of archives of organizations and examination of the value of documents, the presence in organizations of local legal acts regulating office work and the work of the archive, provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, timely scientific and technical processing of documents and ensuring their safety.
The attention of the participants is drawn to the need to subscribe to the industry scientific and practical journal «Archives and Records Management».
After the meeting, participants were given a tour of the archives, where they became familiar with the conditions for ensuring the safety of documents.
Representatives of organizations also visited the laboratory for digitizing documents from the state archive.
