About conducting an excursion for 1st year students of the Faculty of History and Philology of Mogilev State University named after. A.A. Kuleshov» in the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

In the Year of quality and as part of the «Archives to School» campaign, on May 22, 2024, the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» was visited by 1st year students of the Faculty of History and Philology of the A.A.Kuleshov Mogilev State University.

During the excursion, students learned about the history of the creation of the archive, the main directions of its activities, the work of the use department, the archive funds and the specifics of working with them, the conditions for storing documents, and the equipment of archive storage facilities. We also got acquainted with the presented exhibitions: Defense of the city of Mogilev, Partisan movement, 80th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Mogilev, Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War.

At the end of the excursion, guests got acquainted with the museum exhibition on the history of the party archive.
