On conducting a lesson on the Day of the State Flag, the State Emblem and the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus by specialists of the Zonal State Archive in Kobrin

On May 10, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, fifth-graders from secondary school No. 3 in Kobrin visited the Zonal State Archive in Kobrin.

On the eve of the Day of the State Flag, State Emblem and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus, archivists conducted a lesson «Symbols of the Small Motherland».

During the lesson, schoolchildren answered questions from the quiz «The coat of arms, flag and anthem are sacred attributes of the state» and became familiar with the symbols of the Berezovsky, Kobrin and Pruzhany districts. The children were shown archival documents from local authorities on the approval of the coats of arms of such cities as: Bereza, Beloozersk, Kobrin, Pruzhany.

Archive specialists also played the «Symbolism Experts» game with the students. The children took an active part in it and quickly completed the task assigned to them.
