On the holding by employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Orsha», within the framework of the pilot project «Young Archivist», a master class on the formation of bundles of archival files and cardboarding of files

On March 20, 2024, as part of the pilot project «Young Archivist» with students of the 8th «A» class of the state educational institution «Secondary School No.8 of Orsha» the head of the department for ensuring the safety of documents of the State Archive in Orsha, T.V.Mashkanova. A master class was held on forming bundles of archival files and cardboarding files.

The guys got acquainted with the conditions for storing archival documents, learned about the primary means of storage, and the features of placing archival files. In practice, we consolidated the acquired skills of forming a bunch of cases.

At the end of the thematic lesson, the children asked questions about the profession of an archivist, and also visited one of the archives.
