Introductory tour for students of the educational institution «Brest State University named after A.S.Pushkin» in the State Archives of the Brest Region»

As part of the republican action «Archives for School» and the pilot project «Young Archivist», as well as in accordance with the work plan of the branch of the Department of History of Belarus and Political Science of the Educational Institution «Brest State University named after A.S.Pushkin» in the institution «State Archive of the Brest Region» for the 2023/2024 academic year on March 6, 2024 in the archive building on the street V.Khoruzhey, 15, an introductory tour was held for 1st year students of the Faculty of History as part of the PR campaign «The role of the archive in the information support of historical science».

Head Department for the use and publication of documents by G.D.Kalustova told students about the role of archives in the life of society and the state, about the composition of documents in the state archive of the Brest region and the main directions of its activities.

As an introduction, students visited the archives and a laboratory for the repair and restoration of archival documents.
