On the holding of a thematic lesson by employees of the institution «Zonal State Archives in Orsha» within the framework of the project «Young Archivist»

On January 25, 2024, as part of the «Young Archivist» project, with 8th grade students of the state educational institution «Secondary School No. 8 in Orsha» head. The department of the State Archive in Orsha, M.A. Nikulina, conducted a thematic lesson on the topic: «Archival affairs of the Orsha region.»

During this event, the children got acquainted with the history of the emergence of the archival service in the Orsha region, with the existing network of archival institutions in the Republic of Belarus, their structure, scope of activity, areas of archive acquisition, the presence of archival funds, features of storing files and areas of work with archival documents.
