Archival lesson «History of the development of the archival service of Polotchina»

As part of the republican action «Archives to School» and events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, the institution «Zonal State Archive in Polotsk» was visited by students of the educational institution «Polotsk State Chemical-Technological College». Archivists conducted an archival lesson «History of the development of the archival service of Polotchina». The girls got acquainted with the work of the archive, with the documents transferred for storage, and were also able to hold in their hands documents that are more than a hundred years old.

Students were given a sightseeing tour of the archive. The excursionists visited the archives, got acquainted with the current exhibitions, and searched for documents on their own.
