Studying the draft National Security Concept at the Central Laboratory

On October 23, a meeting of laboratory staff was held at the Central Laboratory for the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus, dedicated to the study of the draft of the new National Security Concept of the Republic of Belarus.

Deputy Director of the Laboratory Mezga S.I., using a presentation on this topic, outlined the basic principles of the new Concept, reflecting the transformation of the entire spectrum of modern threats and defining unified approaches to the formation and implementation of public policy in this area.

Director of the laboratory Klyuiko V.L., answering questions from those present, especially noted the new procedure for adopting the Concept – another feature of the project, which is inextricably linked with the change in the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, according to which the authority to approve the Concept is vested in the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly.
