The institution «State Archive of the Mogilev Region» presents for review the Resolution of the Bureau of the Mogilev City Committee of the Communist Party of the BSSR and the Executive Committee of the City Council of Workers’ Deputies No.21/15-258 dated May 11, 1967 «On naming the Mogilev Special Secondary School of Transport Police after the name of police captain – Vladimirov Konstantin Grigorievich».

City authorities initiated the perpetuation of the memory of police captain K.G.Vladimirov, who in July 1941 commanded a combined police battalion in the defense of the northern part of Mogilev. The militia soldiers fought heroically in battle, not retreating under the onslaught of the enemy. In those days, many of the policemen died, including battalion captain K.G. Vladimirov.

The heroic feat of the Mogilev police officers during the Great Patriotic War has not been forgotten to this day. At the battle site near the village of Gai, ceremonial events are held annually with the participation of townspeople, police officers, and cadets of the Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
