Action «Archives – School» in the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok

On September 12, 2023, on the eve of National Unity Day and as part of the «Archives-School» campaign, the institution «Zonal State Archive in Novogrudok» was visited by 5th grade students from the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.3 of Novogrudok named after V.G.Gakhovich».

The head of the department for ensuring the safety, accounting and use of documents N.A.Pisaruk spoke about the historical date of September 17, 1939 and the importance of the public holiday.

The children were presented with the earliest few archival documents from 1939-1940, stored in the state archive, as well as documents on the restoration of the national economy of Novogrudok and the Novogrudok region in the first post-war years, demonstrated at a documentary poster exhibition in the reading room of the archive.
