Signing of an agreement on cooperation between the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus and gymnasium No. 21 in Minsk
On July 20, 2023, on the basis of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (NARB), as part of the nationwide campaign “Archives for School”, an agreement was signed on cooperation between the archive and gymnasium No. 21 in Minsk.
This agreement is aimed at improving, developing and strengthening cooperation in the field of education, archiving, upbringing, science, information exchange, organization of ideological support for educational work, including within the framework of the pilot project “Young Archivist”. The purpose of this interaction is the popularization of archival documents, the exchange of experience and the joint search for new effective forms and mechanisms of ideological support for educational, scientific and educational work aimed at preserving historical memory, educating spirituality and morality in society, shaping moral and patriotic moods, raising civic consciousness, and educating an active civic position among young people.
As part of the event, students of gymnasium No. 21 got acquainted with original documents on the history of the activities of the 2nd Minsk partisan brigade and were able to select the most interesting of them for inclusion in the exposition of the museum being created in the gymnasium.
Archive Director A.K. Demyanuk handed over to the director of gymnasium No. 21 V.V. Nemkovich popular science publication “Archives. Nothing but the truth”, as well as some documentaries prepared by the NARB.
Also, a tour of the archive was organized for the delegation from gymnasium No. 21.
