Students of gymnasium No. 7 in Vitebsk visited the State Archive of the Vitebsk region

On July 10 and 11, 2023, as part of the Republican campaign «Archives for School», the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region were visited by students of gymnasium No.7 in Vitebsk, who are in a summer recreational school camp with a day stay for children.

During the tour, the children briefly got acquainted with such concepts as a historical source, archive, archival document and archival fund, learned about how documents are stored, restored and used in the archive, visited the archives and watched a virtual exhibition dedicated to the liberation of the Vitebsk region from the German fascist invaders in 1944.
