Information on the results of the population census in the occupied city of Mogilev

On the eve of the Day of National Remembrance of the victims of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people, the State Archive of the Mogilev Region institution presents information on the results of the population census conducted in the Nazi-occupied city of Mogilev in August 1941. The figures clearly demonstrate the reduction in the total number of urban residents as a result of hostilities, and also show the number of the Jewish population, which was soon resettled in the ghetto and then destroyed by the Nazis.
