On conducting an excursion for members of the Belarusian Trade Union of Energy, Gas and Fuel Industry Workers

On June 8, 2023, as part of the events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus hosted an excursion for the Belarusian Trade Union of Energy, Gas and Fuel Industry Workers.

The director of the archive, A.K.Demyanuk, welcomed the guests and introduced them to the activities carried out by the institution. During the tour, Researcher of the Publications Department T.N. Ageenko spoke about the history of the archive, the composition and features of document storage, exhibition and publication activities of archivists.

The guests visited the archives, where they got acquainted with documents on the formation and development of the Belarusian statehood, materials from the period of the Great Patriotic War (documents of partisan formations, cards stolen to Germany, albums of destroyed cities), etc.

At the end of the tour, Tatyana Nikolaevna answered the questions of the guests.
