About the event dedicated to Children’s Day and within the framework of the «Archives for School» campaign in the State Archives of the Brest Region
On June 2, 2023, on the occasion of Children’s Day and within the framework of the «Archives for School» campaign, students of the 8th grade of secondary school No.16 in Brest were invited to the State Archives of the Brest Region.
Employees of the Department for the Use and Publication of Documents gave a lecture on the history of the State Archives of the Brest Region, on the composition of archive documents, including the history of the Great Patriotic War, on the rules for storing documents, on how they are used.
Schoolchildren visited the archives and the laboratory for the repair and restoration of archival documents.
