May 27 at secondary school No. 47 in Vitebsk named after E.F. Ivanovsky, the I open local history scientific and practical conference of pupils and students «Прыдзвінскія чытанні» took place

The State Archive of the Vitebsk Region acted as one of the co-organizers of the event, sending its representatives to work as a jury and providing materials from the exhibitions “Slavianski Bazaar-1992” (on the history of the organization of the first international festival of arts “Slavianski Bazaar ”) and “I am writing a self-portrait of the soul against the background of the century” (in memory of the Vitebsk poet and public figure D.G. Simanovich).

The reports and presentations presented by young local historians were awarded diplomas in accordance with the assessments given by the jury members, in which the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region was represented by the head of the department for the use and publication of documents Vladimir Kokhanko and the leading archivist of the same department Svetlana Myasoyedova.
