On conducting a sightseeing tour in the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

On May 16, 2023, as part of the Republican campaign «Archives for School», employees of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» conducted an excursion for students of the 9th grade of secondary school No.15.

Employees of the department for the use of documents Shevchik Tatiana and Bryuzgina Svetlana told the history of the archive and archives, the composition of the stored documents and focused on genealogical documents. They told about the specifics of the work of our institution and suggested that the children find their relatives in the name card index.

The schoolchildren were also acquainted with documentary exhibitions: «The Defense of Mogilev», «Partisan Memory», «Genocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War». A quiz was held for schoolchildren on the topic: «The Great Patriotic War». And also within the framework of this event, a sightseeing tour was held with schoolchildren in the archive repository, during which the head of the department for ensuring the safety of documents and funds, Bartsuleva Svetlana, acquainted with the composition of the stored documents, the mode of their storage. During the tour, the students got acquainted with the exhibition exposition on the history of the party archive.
