Literary and musical holiday «In the wreath of Pesnyar»

On May 11, 2023, within the framework of the project «Writers – Natives of the Native Land», the literary and musical festival «In the wreath of Pesnyar», dedicated to the memory of the poet Pavlyuk Trus, was held in the Uzda Central Regional Library.

The event was attended by the writer, editor-in-chief of the magazine «Polymya» Viktor Shnip, head of the department of library science of the Minsk Regional Library named after. A. S. Pushkin Tatyana Lavrik, poetess, literary critic, candidate of philological sciences Oksana Danilchik and leading researcher of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art Viktor Zhibul (his speech was devoted to the documents of P. Trus in the funds of the archive-museum), as well as employees libraries headed by director Oksana Drachan. The soloist of the district House of Culture Sergey Priemko performed «The Song of the Great Uzdzenshchyna», and the students of the district gymnasium read excerpts from the poems of Pavlyuk Trus, c reating a symbolic bouquet from the young generation of Uzdenshchyna to the poet-countryman.
