The Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art invites schoolchildren and students to join the republican action “Archives for School”

The Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art invites schoolchildren, pupils and students, as well as teachers and teachers to join the republican campaign “Archives for School”, organized by the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus. The archive museum offers:

– get acquainted with the history of one of the few surviving monuments of baroque architecture of the 17th century in Minsk, which now houses the archive-museum;
– find out when archival files began to be stored in the church walls in the city center;
– see with your own eyes how unique documents related to the history of Belarusian literature and art are stored in the archive-museum today;
– learn about the documents stored in the archive-museum and which are a valuable source of information about the activities of prominent Belarusian writers, composers, actors, directors and many other figures of literature and art;
– to see thematic exhibitions prepared by the specialists of the archive-museum;
– get acquainted with the work of the reading room of the archive-museum and try yourself as a researcher.

A visit to the archive-museum is free of charge (participation of a specialist of the archive-museum in information hours and other educational events in educational institutions is possible). Groups up to 15 people. Pre-registration by phone +375 (17) 242-51-88.
