The Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art was visited by students of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Personnel of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts

On February 15, 2023, employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, as part of the nationwide campaign «Archives for School», organized by the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, shared their experience with students of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Personnel of the Educational Institution «Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts» – employees of museum institutions.

Specialists of the archive-museum spoke about the peculiarities of working with documents of personal origin, introduced them to the work of the reading room. On the example of the thematic exhibitions «Chalavek Palymyanaga Sertsa» (to the 120th anniversary of the director Lyubov Mazalevskaya) and «…Zideyai zahavats hell znishchennya…» (to the 100th anniversary of the State Archival Service of Belarus), the archivists spoke about the peculiarities of organizing the use of documents of personal origin. Specialists from museums were interested in the presence of a museum fund in the archive and the breadth of its use. Archivists and museum workers discussed possible joint projects in the Year of Peace and Creation.
