Participation of the employees of the National Archives in the solemn event dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the soldiers-internationalists

In the Afghan conflict of 1979-1989. about 30 thousand Belarusians took part. 771 residents of Belarus died, more than 2 thousand were injured and maimed, four natives of Belarus were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.

On February 15, on the Day of Remembrance of Internationalist Warriors, employees of the National Archives, including representatives of public organizations and youth activists, visited the branch of the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War on the “Island of Courage and Sorrow”.

The employees of the archive took part in the solemn flower-laying ceremony at the Monument to the Soldiers-Internationalists and the rally dedicated to the memory of those who fulfilled their international duty and forever remained an example of steadfastness and courage.
