On November 18, 2022, employees of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region took part in the international historical and archival readings «No one is forgotten and nothing is forgotten»

The readings are dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the defeat of the Nazi troops by the Soviet troops in the Battle of Stalingrad and the 100th anniversary of the formation of the USSR. The event was organized by the Committee of Culture of the Volgograd Region and the Main Department of Justice of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

Head of the Main Department of Justice of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Sergey Petrovich Konopelko and Director of the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region Tatyana Mikhailovna Svistunova addressed the participants of the readings online with a welcoming speech.

6 employees of the archive took part in the readings. They voiced the following topics: “Firefighters of the Vitebsk region – participants in the Battle of Stalingrad”, “Natives of Vitebsk, awarded the medal “For the Defense of Stalingrad””, “Organization by the Nazi military regime of local governments at the initial stage of the occupation of the Vitebsk region (July – December 1941 g.)” and others.
