«Institution Zonal State Archive in Zhlobin», meeting with the Ministry of Emergency Situations

On November 16, 2022, a meeting was held between employees of the Zonal State Archives in Zhlobin and representatives of the Zhlobin Department for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus.

Training sessions on working out actions for the safe evacuation of people from the archive building in case of fire were conducted by the head of the PAChS-1 guard Dmitry Minin.

During the lesson, Dmitry Vasilyevich held a fire-fighting briefing, spoke about the procedure for evacuation during a fire. He also demonstrated the correct use of personal protective equipment for respiratory and human vision (PPE) from toxic combustion products during evacuation from buildings during a fire – self-rescuer «Chance-E». Each employee of the state archive is provided with these self-rescuers.

At the end of the meeting, an evacuation plan was worked out with the withdrawal of persons in the building to the street.
