Conducting a lesson for students as part of the «Archives for School» campaign

November 15, 2022 as part of the «Archives to School» campaign by the State Archives of the Grodno Region for students of grade 10-A of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.32 Grodno» a lesson was held on the topic «No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten», during which schoolchildren were presented with documents telling about the crimes committed by the Nazi invaders during the Great Patriotic War, revealing the essence, nature and consequences of the occupation regime.

The students were presented with the exhibitions «Without a statute of limitations», «Human Fates», as well as collections of documents and materials prepared with the participation of the State Archives of the Grodno Region.

The schoolchildren were given a tour of the institution, showed the most valuable and interesting documentary materials stored in the archives. In the laboratory for the restoration, binding and repair of documents, students watched the process of restoring paper media – the keepers of the historical memory of the Grodno region.
