On November 4, 2022, as part of the “Archives to School” campaign and events dedicated to the Year of Historical Memory, an excursion was organized in the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation for students of the 11th grade of Minsk secondary school N40
The excursionists got acquainted with the history of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, its structure, activities, types of documents and the possibilities of searching for documents. We learned that the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation stores documents on the history of the development of science, technology, and architecture in Belarus.
During the excursion in the department of information and use of documents, students got acquainted with the design, engineering, research, technological and patent documentation.

The schoolchildren also visited the archives, where they were told about the peculiarities of the temperature and humidity regimes for storing documents.
