The scholarly conference “Labor omnia vincit II (labor always wins): material culture in historical context. Problems of study and preservation ” took place in the Grodno State Museum of the History of Religion

On 26-27 May 2022, the Grodno State Museum of the History of Religion held the scholarly conference “Labor omnia vincit II (labor always wins): material culture in historical context. Problems of study and preservation”.

Among the participants was the archivist of the Department of Scientific Use of Documents and Information of the State Archives of Mogilev Region, Alexander Petukhov. His report was devoted to the necropolis and archival finds about the life and activity of the church historian and theologian Ivan Alasnitsky in Mogilev.

In addition to intense scientific discussions, the organizers of the conference offered the participants a rich excursion program around their museum, the city of Grodno and its environs (the Palace in Svyatsk, the church and cemetery in Sapotskin, the Augustov Canal, the fortress walls).
