The ordeals of previous generations of archivists during the war years, their selfless work in the postwar period to restore and develop the national economy (and the state archival industry, in particular) are invaluable examples of devotion to the Motherland, the desire to create for its benefit and readiness to defend it when necessary.
The current and future generations of Belarusian archivists should know, remember and be rightfully proud of the exploits of their predecessors – veterans of the Great Patriotic War, their contribution to the Great Victory!
The memorial project is being implemented within the framework of events dedicated to the Year of Historical Memory and the 100th anniversary of the Archival Service of Belarus. Further work on filling the virtual book of memory will continue on a permanent and systematic basis.
