The Local State Archives in Mozyr was visited by students of Secondary School No 14 in Mozyr

On 30 March 2022, the Local State Archives in Mozyr was visited by students of the 8th “B” class of Secondary School No. 14 (the class teacher is Larisa Glazko, teacher of history).

The meeting aimed to familiarize with the archive, its activities, the archivist’s work, the structure of the stored documents, etc. The event included the excursion to the archival repository during which the students acquainted with the composition of the stored documents, the mode of their storage and methods of conversion into electronic format. They also had a conversation on the topic “The lines smelling of gunpowder…” (about the letters of the Red Army soldiers from the fronts of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945).
