In the framework of the Year of Historical Memory the State Archive of Grodno Region was visited by employees of the Grodno Regional Chamber of Notaries

During the excursion the guests were told about the history of creation, composition of documents and activities of the archives, and learned the collections of documents and the Internet-projects prepared with participation of the State Archives of Grodno Region.

They also visited the archival repository. The guests were especially interested in the archival documents reflecting the history of origin, formation and development of the notary bodies in Grodno Region.

The employees of the Notary Chamber viewed the exhibitions of documents “Without statute of limitations” and “No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten” displayed in the reading room of the Archives, which present unique documentary materials about the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices against the civilian population of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War, as well as documents on the perpetuation of events and the heroism of people who stood up to defend their native land.
