On the Constitution Day the National Library of Belarus hosted the event of the All-Belarusian patriotic action of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union “We are Citizens of Belarus!”

On March 15, 2022, on the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus, the National Library of Belarus hosted the event of the All-Belarusian patriotic action of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union BRSM “We are Citizens of Belarus!”.

On this day, the Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, I. P. Sergeenko, presented passports to young men and women from Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk and Mogilev regions.

The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus prepared a photo-documentary exhibition dedicated to the history of the Komsomol movement in Belarus for the festive event. The exhibition displays a complex of Communist Party documents, as well as documents from the personal collections of the leaders of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus and the Lenin’s Young Communist League of Belarus (Komsomol), P. M. Masherov, V. I. Podrez, V. I. Liventsev, N.S. Orekhvo and others. These are orders, resolutions, bulletins, reports, memoranda, records of the plenums of the Komsomol central committee, reports on the combat activity of the Belarusian partisan brigades and groups, registration cards, questionnaires, identification cards of Komsomol workers, diplomas, photos, and more.

I. P. Sergeenko, Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, A. S. Lukyanov, First Secretary of the BRSM Central Committee, as well as young citizens of our republic got acquainted with the exhibition. E. V. Kushnova, Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, and I. V. Dorogush, head of the department of personal collections, told about the documents presented at the exhibition and about the exhibition and publication activities of the Archives.
