Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management took part in an extended meeting of the Board of the Federal Archival Agency of Russia

On March 03, 2022, Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Kurash took part in an extended meeting of the Board of the Federal Archival Agency of Russia via videoconference at the invitation of the Russian side.

The Board summed up the results of the Archival Service of Russia in 2021 and set objectives for 2022. The meeting was attended by the staff of the Federal Archival Agency, federal state archives of Russia, archives representatives of the executive authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation, representatives of federal government bodies, scientific institutions and organizations, members of the Public Council at the Federal Archival Agency.

Head of the Russia Federal Archival Agency A. N. Artizov made a presentation. In his speech he mentioned, among other things, a number of joint projects implemented in 2021 by archivists of Russia and Belarus, and thanked his Belarusian colleagues for active cooperation.

Director of the Institute of Archaeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of History N. A. Makarov, Director of the State Archives of the Russian Federation L. A. Rogovaya, Chairman of the Committee on Archives Management of the Rostov Region Yu. A. Frolov and others took part in the debate.
