Igor Protasevich donated to the Belarusian Cinema and Photo Archives 37 photographs from the family archive on the life of his grandfather Vyacheslav Protasevich, a Belarusian folk craftsman of musical instruments
On January 26, 2022, Igor Protasevich donated to the State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings (BGAKFFD) 37 photographs from the family archive related to the life and work of his grandfather Vyacheslav Protasevich – a native of the village of Rospy, Kopyl district, Belarusian folk craftsman of musical instruments, performer of folk melodies on the pipe, violin, zhaleyka made of straw, caraway, reeds, a member of the partisan movement in the Great Patriotic War, the winner of the All-Union Festival of amateur artistic creativity of workers.
Employees of the BGAKFFD and students of the Institute of Psychology and the Institute of Inclusive Education of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after M. Tank, participants of the 57th Star Trek to the places of military and labour glory of the Belarusian people were present at the handing over of the documents.
