A joint meeting of the boards of the Federal Archival Agency of the Russian Federation and the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus was held in Kaluga, Russia on October 28, 2020.

The delegation of Russian archivists was headed by the Head of the Federal Archival Agency of the Russian Federation A.N. Artizov, the delegation of archivists of the Republic of Belarus – Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus V.I. Kourash.

The joint board examined the issue “On the improvement of archival legislation in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus”.

A joint seminar of the heads of archival institutions of Russia and Belarus was held on October 26, 2020 in Moscow, on the basis of the Russian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation, dedicated to the restoration and conservation of archival documents, the preservation of documentary heritage.
