{"id":485,"date":"2018-10-22T10:51:38","date_gmt":"2018-10-22T07:51:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=485"},"modified":"2018-10-22T10:51:38","modified_gmt":"2018-10-22T07:51:38","slug":"the-final-stage-of-the-republic-level-contest-the-best-archivist-of-belarus-was-held-at-the-state-archives-of-brest-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/485","title":{"rendered":"The final stage of the republic-level contest \u201cThe Best Archivist of Belarus\u201d was held at the State Archives of Brest Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The final stage of the<b> republic-level professional contest \u201cThe Best Archivist of Belarus\u201d<\/b> was held on 17-18 October at the State Archives of Brest Region. 17 archivists participated at the contest.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers of the contest are the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Belarus and the public association \u201cThe Belarusian Society of Archivists\u201d with the support of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of Government Institutions and Other Organizations. <\/p>\n<p>The objectives of the contest are to bring out and support the best archivists with high professional level, to create a positive image of the archive business, to increase the social status of the archive profession and to encourage archivists to research more the history of Belarus on the basis of archival documents. <\/p>\n<p>The contest included two stages. At the first stage the contesters presented their works on the topic \u201cThe small homeland in the documents of the National Archival Holdings of the Republic of Belarus\u201d.
