The event took place at the Yanka Kupala Central Library in Minsk.<\/p>\n<p>The speakers at the event were Director of the Centralized System of State Public Libraries in Minsk E. Kubyshkina and BGAKFFD Head for Records and Information Use Division T. Rakhmanko. Students of the Minsk Mikhail Glinka State Musical College performed musical works by Mikhail Musorgsky, Belarusian folk songs and songs from the Soviet Union period. <\/p>\n<p>The event included the demonstration of documentaries \u201cThe Renewal of Minsk\u201d (1946, dir. S. Sploshnov) and \u201cMy City\u201d (1961, dir. V. Sheleg) about the restoration and reconstruction of Minsk in the period of 1945-1961 and a newsreel \u201cSoviet Belarus\u201d No. 2 (1977, dir. E.
