In July 2017 the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art opened three exhibitions:<\/p>\n
On 13 July the Archives held the opening of the exhibition \u201cMy brother\u201d<\/b> celebrating the 120th anniversary of the birth of Mikhas Mitskevich (Antos Galina), Belarusian writer, translator, pedagogue and public figure, younger brother of Yakub Kolas. The initiator and organizer of the exhibition is Yakub Kolas\u2019s granddaughter, president of the Sakavik Children\u2019s Foundation of Spiritual and Cultural Revival, Marya Mitskevich.<\/p>\n
On 14 July, on the occasion of the Seventh World Congress of Belarusians, the art gallery \u201cThe Culture University\u201d (The Palace of the Republic) opened an exhibition \u201cZora nad Vitaut\u201d <\/b> marking 90 years of the Belarusian figures in the United States, Zora and Vitaut Kipel. The exhibition has been organized by the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art, the World Association of Belarusians \u201cBatskaushchyna\u201d and the art gallery \u201cThe Culture University\u201d of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. <\/p>\n
The Seventh World Congress of Belarusians, held on 15-16 July in Minsk, also included the exhibition \u201cFollowing Francis Skaryna: the printing legacy of Belarusian immigrants in the West\u201d<\/b> based on the documents from the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art.<\/p>\n
