Johnstone and Jon Reiss, First Secretary of the US Embassy in Minsk Rima Koyler, member of the Culture and Education Division E. Karpovich.<\/p>\n<p>The visit took place during the Documentary Film Festival \u201cUnknown America\u201d held in Minsk with the support of the US Embassy and Kinovideoprocat Company.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit the parties exchanged useful information, discussed perspectives of development of the documentary film, preservation of documentary materials etc. The guests got acquainted with the archive\u2019s holdings, the earliest photo and film records on the history of Belarus from 1930-1944.<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/images\/novosti\/img_7730.jpg\" width=\"350\" height=\"330\" border=\"1\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/images\/novosti\/img_7772.jpg\" width=\"350\" height=\"339\" border=\"1\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/images\/novosti\/img_7865.jpg\" width=\"350\" height=\"319\" border=\"1\"><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 5 April 2017 the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings was visited by American filmmakers T.C.
