On 31 August 2016 the Belarusian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation opened an exhibition dedicated to 80th anniversary of the birth of Leonid LEVIN<\/b>, Honored Architect of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic (BSSR).<\/p>\n
The exhibition shows documents presented by the Belarusian Union of Architects and the materials from the Archives’ holdings. <\/p>\n
The architect’s main works are the Khatyn Memorial Complex (1969); Memorial Complex \u201cThe Breakthrough\u201d at Ushachi (1974); Memorial Complex \u201cCondemnation of Fascism\u201d (village of Shunevka,1983); Memorial to the Perished Jews of Gorodeya (2004); Memorial to Children who Died during the Great Patriotic War (Krasny Bereg, Zhlobin district, 2006); Monument to Yanka Kupala (Minsk, 1972); Monument to Yakub Kolas (Minsk, 1972); Monument to Prince David in David-Gorodok (2000); the building of the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (1968); metro stations \u201cLenin Square\u201d (1984) and \u201cNemiga\u201d (1990); reconstruction of the historical part of Minsk: \u201cThe Trinity Suburb\u201d, \u201cThe Upper Town\u201d etc. <\/p>\n
Architect Leonid Levin is awarded two Honored Diplomas of the Supreme Council of the BSSR, the Diploma of the Supreme Council of the BSSR, the Order \u201cFor Achievements in the Federative Republic of Germany\u201d. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
