The delegation was headed by Vladimir A. Vasilyev, a film producer, script writer, Doctor of Culturology, Ph.D. in History, Professor at the Ulyanov State University of Chuvashia. The purpose of the visit is to make <b>a TV documentary film about the underground anti-fascist organization led by Nikolay Volkov<\/b>, known as \u201cuncle Kolya&rsquo;s group\u201d, who fought against the enemy in the city of Grodno during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. <\/p>\n<p>The Archive&rsquo;s staff presented documents from the personal collection of Alexander Pleshevenya: photographs, reminiscences, letters, articles about the activities of Nikolay Volkov&rsquo;s antifascist group. <\/p>\n<p>The presentation of the film is scheduled to take place in September in Grodno. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 24 May the State Archives of Grodno Region hosted a creative delegation from Cheboksary, Russia.
