On November 6, 2026, Archive Director Yuri Shestopalov<\/strong> and archivist (first qualification category) Viktoriya Rudenko<\/strong> took part in a ceremonial assembly at the Priborsk State College<\/strong>. The assembly and an accompanying open lesson were dedicated to the 109th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution<\/strong>. In his address, Yuri Shestopalov<\/strong> focused on the achievements of the Great October Revolution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00abWith the victory of the working class \u2014 led by the Bolshevik Party \u2014 over the Tsarist autocracy, the right to national self-determination, peaceful development, state-provided social guarantees, the right to work, and access to free education and healthcare were established. It is no coincidence that the first decrees adopted were the \u00abDecree on Peace\u00bb and the \u00abDecree on Land\u00bb. The former declared a readiness to immediately conclude a peace treaty without annexations or indemnities \u2014 a vital necessity for the nascent Soviet Republic \u2014 while the latter transferred land to the peasantry without the requirement of redemption payments. The introduction of an eight-hour workday, the granting of equal rights to men and women in all spheres of public life, and the proclamation of the equality and sovereignty of the peoples of Russia all serve as proof that the leadership of the RSFSR followed the correct path\u2014the path of Lenin. Young people have a duty to respect and cherish their national history and the memory of the generations whose achievements continue to benefit many European countries to this day<\/em>\u00bb, said Yuri Shestopalov.<\/p>\n

Viktoriya Rudenko dedicated her presentation to the youth of the 1920s<\/strong> \u2014 the Komsomol members and enthusiasts \u2014 highlighting the contributions made by young people to the cause of the revolution. Her presentation also touched upon the attitudes of today\u2019s Belarusian youth toward the events of the October Revolution of 1917.<\/p>\n

In closing, warm congratulations on the national holiday were extended to the older generation and all those in attendance.<\/p>\n
