As part of the \u00abWeek of Parental Love\u00bb<\/strong>, Darya Katayeva<\/strong> \u2014 a member of the Molodechno District branch of the \u00abBelaya Rus\u00bb Public Association, an archivist at the Zonal State Archive in Molodechno, and a mother of many children<\/strong>\u2014participated in the \u00abLiving History: From Homestead to Obelisk\u00bb<\/strong> initiative.<\/p>\n

The organizers focused their attention specifically on mothers with large families, including Darya Vasilyevna<\/strong>. The first stop on the itinerary was the \u00abKrapiva\u00bb (Nettle) farmstead<\/strong>, where the hosts welcomed the guests with traditional Belarusian hospitality. The participants took part in a cheese-making workshop, where, under the guidance of an experienced artisan, each woman had the chance to try her hand at the craft. The visit concluded with a tasting session, allowing the guests to sample a variety of cheeses and honey produced on-site. The Molodechno District branch of \u00abBelaya Rus\u00bb<\/strong> took the opportunity to congratulate the mothers on the occasion and presented them with commemorative souvenirs.<\/p>\n

On the same day, the participants attended the opening of an exhibition titled \u00abFolk Icons of Belarus\u00bb at the Minsk Regional Museum of Local Lore in MolodechNo<\/strong>.The exhibition was presented by the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life<\/strong>. Guests had the chance to engage with unique examples of folk art and learn about their rich history. A special highlight for the visitors was a musical performance featuring traditional Belarusian folk instruments, complemented by an insightful guided tour of the exhibition. <\/p>\n

The project \u00abLiving History: From the Manor to the Obelisk<\/strong>\u00bb is dedicated to preserving historical memory, strengthening family values, and fostering a connection to the cultural heritage of one\u2019s native region. It is highly fitting that Darya Katayeva<\/strong> has taken part in this initiative\u2014a person who, by virtue of her profession, safeguards the past, and by personal calling, nurtures the future.<\/p>\n
